How the Online Retail Scheme can benefit you.
The purpose of the Online Retail Scheme is to help Irish-based retailers, with a pre-existing web presence, to:
Respond to domestic and international demand for online shopping,
Strengthen small retailers in finding and retaining customers,
Protect their physical operation by enabling growth through an online marketplace,
Upskill staff with e-commerce roles.
Successful applicants will be awarded funding of a maximum of 80% of the project eligible costs up to €64,000, including: research, consultancy costs for strategy development, implementation and in-house training.
How to make your application successful
The applicant must:
Not currently be a client of Enterprise Ireland
Be an Irish based retail enterprise
Employ 10 or more full-time staff
Have the ambition to internationalise their business in future
Have an existing online presence (e.g. website or social media)
Have a physical retail store
Apply before the deadline (June 1st 2022)
